"There are two ways to view human nature:  all are good, and bad people are the exception; or all are bad, and good people are the exception.  We sometimes trust people simply because we know them, or because their position implies they can be trusted.  Once, a stranger provided what I needed in an emergency--something the people I trusted did not provide.  This challenged my assumptions about who we can, and do, trust.  Your task?  Which view of human nature is true for you, and which is the exception?"

About the Playwright

Julie Greene lives, works and plays in California ’s capital city. She enjoys all aspects of theatre production and has been a member of the Thistle Dew Dessert Theatre’s Playwrights Workshop since 2006. Going Somewhere was nominated for a 2009 SARTA (Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance) Elly Award for Original Script – Original Work. Julie was nominated for the 2009 - 2010 Woodland Opera House Chesley Award for Leading Actress, Play. Her favorite activities include teaching, reading, writing, hiking, anything to do with theatre, and fundraising development.
