Synopsis
Reunions consists of three very different stories of very different people
set together in a very familiar type of place. While there, Geoff and Betty offer us a
serio-comic look at a relationship stretched to the breaking point. Next, while steadying
her nerves for her class reunion, Joanne faces a traumatic past with the man she barely
knew forty-five years ago. And Stan, alternatively referred to as a pig or genius, offers
us the perfect comic scenario for how to pick up women
by pretending to be a
widower. As we watch these lives become entwined, we can't help but see people we know at
their very best and at their most human.
The Scene...
The scenes are set in a friendly neighborhood
restaurant bar. There are three tables visible. The tables have tablecloths and candles.
They are in a triangular pattern center SL of the bar with two tables down of the third.
There is a bar SR. There is a jukebox upstage. Upstage right has a door that leads
outside. Upstage left exit leads to a party room and the lavatories.
