The Setting A modern living room, neat and cleanish. Author Biography Susan C. Hunter's credits include several published plays and numerous productions of her work across the country. With her partner, Thomas R. Shelton, she was the recipient of the national playwriting award given by the Landers Theatre in Springfield (MO), for their musical adaptation of the classic novel Caddie Woodlawn by Carol Ryrie Brink. They were also commissioned by the San Diego Opera to write a children's opera, The Boy Who Ruled the Moon and Sun, which toured schools as part of the company's educational outreach program. Her full-length play, Flights, has been produced both in New York City and Los Angeles. In addition, she has had several one-acts produced nationwide, including Traffic Jam, High Hopes, Tired Feet and Dancing Shoes, Heart-to-Heart , Eternal Flame, and Springer Sprung. Many of her works were developed in association with Lisa Soland's All Original Playwright Workshop in North Hollywood (CA). Her husband, Michael Eiden, is a stage director, and her two children, Emily and Andrew, are professional actors. |
